MOSCOW, October 24. /TASS/. Washington will make arrangements for a meeting between the US and Russian leaders, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, in Paris on November 11, visiting US National Security Adviser John Bolton told a news conference on Tuesday summing up the results of his visit to Moscow.
"President Putin said in the opining of the meeting today when the press was there that it would be useful to continue direct dialogue with the president of the United States, primarily on the fields of international events that will take place in the near future, for example in Paris. Of course if the American side is interested in these contacts," he said.
"And I said ‘yes,’ President Trump would be looking forward to meeting him in Paris, so we will make the precise arrangements on that," he said.
After Putin’s meeting with Bolton earlier on Tuesday, Russian president’s aide Yuri Ushakov said that an agreement had been reached to organize a Russian-US summit in Paris on November 11 on the sidelines of the 100th anniversary celebration of the armistice after World War I.
