TASS, July 27. South and North Korea plan to hold general-level military talks in the border truce village of Panmunjom on July 31, Yonhap news agency reported on Friday.

South Korea’s delegation will be led by Major Gen. Kim Do-gyun, while North Korea will be represented by Lieut. Gen. An Ik-san.

Back on June 14, South and North Korea held their first military talks at the level of generals over the past decade. During the meeting Seoul and Pyongyang agreed to fully restore their military communication lines.

The communication lines between South and North Korea on the western part of the border were set up in 2002, and on the eastern part in 2003.
