MOSCOW, April 20. /TASS/. Russia and Austria managed to preserve channels for dialogue, said Austrian Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Karin Kneissl at negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Friday.

Kneissl thanked Russia "for excellent cooperation both in the bilateral and multilateral format." "Cooperation with Russia, including during Austria’s chairmanship in the OSCE is a good experience for me," she noted.

"I am happy that we managed to successfully preserve channels for dialogue, and that’s exactly how I understand diplomacy," the Austrian foreign minister stressed. "I hope that today we will be able to discuss important aspects of bilateral cooperation.".
