Russian-Turkish Public Forum opens in Istanbul

The parties are currently holding consultations behind the closed doors for the press

ISTANBUL, March 31. /TASS/. The Russian-Turkish Public Forum opened in Istanbul on Saturday.

Head of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) Eleonora Mitrofanova represented the Russian side, and Deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Berat Conkar and representatives of the relevant committees - the Turkish side.

The parties are currently holding consultations behind the closed doors for the press.

In March 2017, the third meeting of the Russian-Turkish Public Forum was held. The forum aims to develop bilateral relations between Russia and Turkey.
