Bear crossing road causes car collision in Russian Far East

The bear was killed in the accident

BLAGOVESHCHENSK, October 4. /TASS/. A bear crossing a road in the Far Eastern Amur region caused two cars to collide, injuring two passengers, local police said on Tuesday.

"A woman driving a Toyota struck a bear crossing the road. The animal was killed in the accident," police said.

A few minutes later, another vehicle travelling along the road hit the disabled Toyota. As a result, both passengers were injured and hospitalized, police stated.
