MOSCOW, August 24. /TASS/. An unknown man is threatening to blow up an office of Citibank on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street in downtown Moscow, an eyewitness told TASS.
He said the man, aged 55-60, has a box wrapped in yellow sticky tape with wires inside on his neck. The man is shouting and threatening to blow up his device.
He is not making any requests. An eyewitness said the man let a bank employee go.
A TASS correspondent who is in front of the bank said the police have arrived at the site. There are two police vehicles in front of the bank and one of them is blocking traffic. A firefighting vehicle has also arrived at the site.
Police are preventing passersby from approaching the bank office.
The Interior Ministry is not yet commenting on the situation.
