MOSCOW, April 9. /TASS/. Moscow police have detained an offender who wounded a man from a non-lethal in the Moscow metro on Friday night.
A verbal quarrel between two men broke out when a train was approaching Profsoyuznaya station in the south of the city. One of the quarrellers shot at the opponent, inflicting nonpenetrating head wounds on him.
The wounded was evacuated to a nearby hospital by emergency medics right from the coach.
"Police detained a man born in 1957 on suspicion of an attempt at a murder," a spokeswoman for the Moscow City branch of Russia's Investigations Committee said. "He has been taken to the investigative agencies where his involvement in the crime will be verified.".
