MOSCOW, March 16. /TASS/. Prominent Soviet era dissident, poet and mathematician Alexander Yesenin-Volpin, the son of famous Russian poet Sergei Yesenin, has died in the United States aged 91, the Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper said on Wednesday.
Yesenin-Volpin known for his poems challenging the Soviet system was born in Leningrad (now St.Petersurg) in May 1924, six months before his famous father committed suicide.
