Freon cylinder explodes in Russia's Academy of Sciences building killing one person

MOSCOW, November 9. /TASS/. A Freon cylinder has exploded in the building of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the southwest of Moscow leaving one person dead, Moscow’s law enforcement agencies told TASS.

"The incident occurred in one of the premises of the academy’s building located on Leninsky Avenue. A cylinder with Freon exploded. The incident has left one person dead," the source said.

Rescuers and police officers are working on the scene. The cause of the explosion is being determined.
