Four attackers were eliminated

MOSCOW, May 19. /TASS/. The Russian Investigative Committee launched a criminal case over a militant attack on St. Michael the Archangel's Church in Grozny under Article 317 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Infringement on the life of a law enforcement officer"), according to a report published on the committee’s website.

"According to preliminary information, two police officers who guarded the church have been killed in the attack and two police officers and one civilian have been injured. The identity of the killed civilian is being established. Four militants were eliminated. Knives and smoothbore weapons were found," the Investigative Committee reported.
