Two killed, 13 wounded in shelling in Syria’s Homs - Russian reconciliation center

Four missiles were fired

MOSCOW, April 30. /TASS/. Two people were killed and 13 more were wounded in the Syrian city of Homs that twice came under shelling by militants, chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria Yuri Yevtushenko said on Monday.

"On April 29, militants of illegal armed groups twice shelled Homs’ districts of al-Aidum, al-Khudari, al-Durdiya and Term Zeitun from the southern outskirts of the settlement of Tell Bisa in the province of Homs. Four missiles were fired. Two people died and 13 more were wounded. Several building were damaged," he said.

Apart from that, the Russian reconciliation center reported sporadic ceasefire violation in the provinces of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama and Daraa.

Demining works continue in the city of Douma in Eastern Ghouta. Russian military police units cleared of mines five house and destroyed four explosive devices.

During the day, as many as 722 Syrians returned to their homes, including 143 people returned to the province of Homs, 460 - to the province of Deir ez-Zor, and 119 - to Eastern Ghouta, the center said.
