Roscosmos plans to enter Southeast Asian and Latin American markets

Partnership with the regional countries will be a priority for Roscosmos in the near future, Roscosmos Executive Director for Business Development and Commercialization Anton Zhiganov noted

MOSCOW, December 13. /TASS/. Roscosmos plans to sell its products on the Southeast Asian and Latin American markets, Roscosmos Executive Director for Business Development and Commercialization Anton Zhiganov said in an interview with TASS.

"We are conducting this work (to detect commercially attractive markets in which Russia is not represented but could be - TASS). We held a contest, and according to its results the Interregional Analytical Center at the Economic Development Ministry became our partner in this work. We’ve been working with them for several months. We can say in advance that we are interested in developing markets: Southeast Asia and the market of Latin America," Zhiganov said.

Partnership with the regional countries will be a priority for Roscosmos in the near future, he said.

He noted that Roscosmos’ products meet a growing competition in the traditional market sectors.

"For example, the market is rather complicated regarding the launching services. As for the service market, where we want to develop, I think that it would be interesting to work with potential partners," he said.
