KOROLEV /Moscow region/, February 24. /TASS/. Russia’s cargo spacecraft Progress MS-05 has docked the International Space Station in the automatic mode, the Mission Control Center near Moscow told TASS on Friday.
Russian cosmonauts Sergei Ryzhikov and Oleg Novitsky controlled the approach process and were prepared, if necessary, to control it.
The spacecraft has delivered to ISS about 2.5 tons of cargo, including fuel for ISS, water and air for the crew, as well as research equipment, medicines and hygiene products.
On board of ISS now, besides Ryzhikov and Novitsky, there is another Russian cosmonaut Andrei Borisenko, and Americans Shane Kimbrough and Peggy Whitson, and European Thomas Pesquet.
