MOSCOW, August 7. /TASS/. More than 120 airfields are to be built or overhauled across Russia by 2020, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on Friday.
"As for the airfield network, we are to overhaul or build more than 120 airdromes. It is enormous work," he said when congratulating military builders on their professional holiday.
He said the builder’s profession was one of the "most humane and giving" and awarded medals and titles to the best military builders.
The Builders’ Day is traditionally marked in Russia on the second Sunday of August.
