MAKHACHKALA, April 24. /TASS/. According to preliminary data, one militant was killed during a special operation in the Karabudakhkent district of Russia’s North Caucasus republic of Dagestan, where a counter-terrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced on Friday morning, a source in the republic’s law enforcement agencies told TASS.
"In the Novy Paraul village, security forces blocked a house where they knew a militant was hiding. When the law enforces surrounded it, a man ran out of the house and tried to fire a grenade launched at them, but was killed by return fire," said the source.
