MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/. Contract killing is the main version of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov’s death being examined by the investigators, Moscow’s Basmanny court has been told.
"At the moment the probe is proceeding along all lines of inquiry. Contract killing is the main suspicion," an investigator told the court, adding that the search for the organizers and the person who a contract on Nemtsov’s life was in progress.
Khamzat Bakhayev, a suspect in the murder of Boris Nemtsov, pleaded not guilty during court hearings on Monday.
"I did not take part in this crime and knew nothing [on the murder]," Bakhayev told the Moscow Basmanny Court.
