BAKU, September 12. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow will finalize large armament supplies to Baku under the agreements of 2010 in 2017, but further tank supplies are not on the agenda yet, aide to Rosoboronexport’s head Esen Topoyev told ITAR-TASS on Friday.
“In 2010, we signed a big packege which included several positions. The terms were different, and we have made several shipments this year. Something is finalized, and something is due in 2015. The supplies are planned to continue through 2017,” he said.
Moscow will finalize supplies of 100 tanks (T-90C) to Baku in the first quarter of 2015, Topoyev said.
Earlier, deputy head of the federal service on the military and technical cooperation Konstantin Birullin told ITAR-TASS that Russia had finalized supplying to Azerbaijan 100 tanks of T-90C class in April. He confirmed a second similar shipment was possible.
