MOSCOW, July 01. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov supported the initiative of his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier to organize a meeting between the foreign ministers of Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine in Berlin on July 2, the Russian foreign ministry said on Tuesday after a telephone conversation between the two ministers.
“The Russian foreign minister supported the idea of Frank-Walter Steinmeier to hold a meeting between Russian, German, French and Ukrainian foreign ministers in Berlin on July 2 with due account of understandings reached during their teleconference on June 30 at the instruction of the leaders of the four countries,” the ministry said.
