MOSCOW, March 04. /ITAR-TASS/. Use of aircraft has intensified recently in Russia, as each commander of the crew had an average of 104 hours of flights in 2013, Defense Minister General Sergey Shoigu said at a telecom conference in the Defense Ministry on Tuesday.
“Insufficient technical order of aircraft hampers improvement of flight training level,” Shoigu noted.
“At the final meeting of the Defense Ministry’s board in the previous year, the High Command of the Air Force was instructed to increase technical order of weapons and military hardware of the Air Force to 75% before the end of 2014,” the minister recalled.
“We will discuss at a meeting how to resolve this task,” he said.
