Russia extends agreements with EU on cooperation in science and technology

MOSCOW, February 08, 10:29 /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian government has extended for five years agreements with the European Union on cooperation in science and technology.

The agreements make a legal base for cooperation between Russia and the EU in the scientific-technological spheres.

The agreements include implementation of various joint projects in scientific research and fundamental research. For example, the agreements cover free access and joint use of research equipment, collecting of data, visits and exchange of scientific, technical and other experts, organisation of seminars, working meetings and exchange of information on practice, legislation, regulations and programmes related to the cooperation.
