Russia, Kazakhstan to discuss military cooperation

MOSCOW, January 30. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Defense Minister General Sergey Shoigu has left for Kazakhstan on a visit Thursday.

“On January 30-31, the minister will pay an official visit to Astana to meet Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbaev and to hold talks with Defense Minister Adilbek Dzhaksybekov,” Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said.

“The agenda includes the current state and prospects of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation alongside exchange of views on security problems in Central Asia,” the spokesperson said.
