Teenager girl injured by killer dies at hospital in Krasnodar territory

KRASNODAR, November 17, 11:35 /ITAR-TASS/. The death toll of the murder in the settlement of Starominskaya, Krasnodar Territory, on November 16, reached four people. A 12-year-old girl died of wounds at 05:45 Moscow time on Sunday at the children’s territorial hospital in the city of Krasnodar, Southern Russia.

“The doctors of Krasnodar Territory did their best to save the girl,” the regional health ministry told Itar-Tass. The medical helicopter airlifted the injured girl to Krasnodar, where the best Kuban surgeons had made a surgery on her. But they failed to save her life.

“Yevgeny Marushko, 39, father of the killed girl, is suspected of murder, he is being searched for,” the alert police force in Starominskaya district told Itar-Tass. More than 25 mobile search groups are involved in the search, the Cossacks and hunters are helping the police.

Triple murder

The triple murder was committed early in the morning on November 16 in the settlement of Starominskaya in Krasnodar Territory. When the police arrived at the murder scene, they found three people killed and a girl injured. The injured girl was taken urgently to the children’s territorial hospital in the city of Krasnodar.

“A 36-year-old hostess of the house, her elder daughter and the son-in-law were killed in the morning on November 16. All of them have got numerous knife wounds. Younger daughter Anastasia, 12, was also injured by the killer, but the girl was found alive. A one-month-old newborn was also in the house, but he was not hurt, as the mother covered him from the killer with her body,” chief doctor of the Starominskaya central district hospital Yuri Demidov added.

During the search at the murder scene the detectives have found a knife on the bottom of the water well. The knife was presumably the weapon of the murder. No robbery traces were found at the house.

Several theories of the murder are being investigated, the main theory is the murder out of personal hatred, senior criminal detective Sergei Tokarev said. The main suspect is Yevgeny Marushko, 39, the former husband of the killed woman.
