Criminal case filed over Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport shooting

According to police data, the victim was carrying over $1.5 million with him

MOSCOW, November 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Criminal proceedings were filed after the shooting in the capital's Sheremetyevo airport, in which a man was wounded. This was reported by the press service of Russia’s Interior Ministry.

“The Investigation Division of the Interior Ministry of Russia at the airport opened a criminal case under Article 162 of the Criminal Code – “plunder”,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

In the morning of November 13 at the Sheremetyevo-2 airport’s VIP-parking of terminal D four unidentified men in a Mercedes car (taxi) opened fire and wounded a Kyrgyz citizen who arrived on a flight from Bishkek. After that, the attackers fled, taking with them the man’s bag.

The wounded man was taken to a hospital.

According to police data, the victim was carrying over $1.5 million with him.

Two sleeves of 5.45 and 7.65 mm were found at the scene.
