MOSCOW, October 11 (Itar-Tass) - Russia warns categorically against any provocations in the process of eliminating Syria’s chemical weapon, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said following his negotiations with Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister - Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
“We welcome the continuing process of implementing the decisions of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and the UN Security Council on the international control over the stock of chemical weapon in Syria in order to eliminate it later on, and we are for having that work continue smoothly, in accordance with the schedule, without any failures. We warn categorically against any provocations,” Lavrov said.
