MOSCOW, July 12 (Itar-Tass) - President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to mark the 110th anniversary of Itar-Tass News Agency in 2014.
The president’s decree has been placed on the legal information portal.
By taking into account the Itar-Tass news agency’s role in the development of national mass media and in international information exchange Putin issued an order to organize the events devoted to this date. The Russian government has been instructed to prepare and hold the festivities.
The decree “recommends the state bodies of power of Russian regions and self-government bodies of power to take part in preparing and holding the events devoted to the 110th anniversary of Itar-Tass News Agency”.
