MOSCOW, July 8 (Itar-Tass) - NPO Saturn, an engine-building company, is making aircraft engines for China and India, the company’s Managing Director Ilya Fyodorov said on Monday, July 8.

“We are implementing contracts with customers in China and India. There are minor orders for engine maintenance and we are doing a lot of joint design work with them,” he said.

Saturn also has customers in South America. “These are mainly ground-based stations,” Fyodorov added.

He admitted that Saturn has no big contracts with the West.

The company supplies products to domestic and foreign customers in equal proportions.
