Cashier's office robbed in northeastern Moscow

Two unidentified person entered the cashier's office and threatened the cash operator

MOSCOW, May 28 (Itar-Tass) - Unidentified persons robbed a cashier's office at a commercial bank in northeastern Moscow, escaping with two million roubles and 30,000 dollars, the press service of the Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

The robbery was reported after 19:20, on Monday. The commercial bank is located on the premises of a shopping mall in Prospekt /Avenue/ Mira.

Two unidentified person entered the cashier's office and threatened the cash operator. They took money from the safe and escape, police said.

Criminal proceedings have been opened over robbery. Law-enforcement bodies have launched a manhunt for the criminals.
