MOSCOW, May 13 (Itar-Tass) - U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will visit Russia on May 16-19, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday, May 13.
“This will be his sixth visit to our country. The previous one took place in April 2011,” the ministry said.
It said Ban would have talks with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on May 17 to discuss “pressing international issues, including the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, specifically the crisis in Syria, the situation on the Korean Peninsula, U.N. assistance in the settlement of the conflict in Mali, developments in Kosovo, the situation in Central Asia and the Transcaucasia, Cyprus settlement, the fight against terrorism, and others.”
