North Korea capable of destroying US bases in Japan – newspaper Rodong Sinmun

At present, Japan is amassing self-defense force units in western parts of the country "to prepare an invasion of the Korean territory," the Rodong Sinmun claimed

PYONGYANG, April 10 (Itar-Tass) – The Korean People's Army is "capable of destroying U.S. bases in Japan in other areas of the Asian-Pacific region," the newspaper Rodong Sinmun, the mouthpiece of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, warned on Wednesday.

"The Japanese reactionaries are facing an infamous end, if Tokyo joins the reckless attempts by U.S. imperialists to unleash a war against North Korea," it said.

The newspaper believes Japan set the objective to "return to Korea by taking advantage of the U.S. attempt to strange the people's republic by means of weapons."

At present, Japan is amassing self-defense force units in western parts of the country "to prepare an invasion of the Korean territory," the Rodong Sinmun claimed.
