Terrorist attacks prevented in Dagestan

Three bombs with a total yield of some 10 kilograms of TNT, ammunition and food were found in the dug-out

MOSCOW, March 7 (Itar-Tass) - The National Antiterrorist Committee said a series of terrorist attacks has been prevented in Dagestan.

"Federal Security Service agents and police carried out coordinated actions to detect and destroy the militants' infrastructure in the republic. A winter camp of members of the Khasavyurt sabotage and terrorist group was found in a forest near the village of Mogilyovskoye on Wednesday. A well-equipped dug-out was intended for extended stay," a NAK representative said.

Three bombs with a total yield of some 10 kilograms of TNT, ammunition and food were found in the dug-out. Police documented the evidence before destroying it.
