VLADIVOSTOK, February 20 (Itar-Tass) - A search is under way in the Primosky Territory (PT) for an eight-year-old schoolgirl who was reported mssing in the city of Ussuriisk on Tuesday night.
An official in the press service of the PT Interior Ministry Department told Itar-Tass on Wednesday that the girl had left the school building but did not get to the bus stop where the parents were waiting for her. The parents then applied to police, after which an active search had been mounted but to no avail so far.
"Volunteers are joining in the search on Wednesday. Photos and notifications about the child's disappearance have been circularted by all the media of the Territory since Wednesday morning," related Anastasia Vakula, representative of the "Search for Children" public organization.
