MOSCOW, January 30 (Itar-Tass) – Moscow City court has refused to consider an appeal by Yekaterina Samutsevich, a member of the Pussy Riot notorious punk group, over a previous ruling, which classified four video clips of group as extremist ones.

The judges of the appeals court said Samutsevich was not regarded as a party to the courtroom litigation and hence could not appeal a judiciary act.

The rejection of Samutsevich’s appeal means that the previous ruling has been left unchallenged and is taking legal effect now. The video clips of the mischief-making group are now officially ranked as extremist materials.

Earlier, Moscow City’s Zamoskroretsky district court ruled that the clips had an extremist nature. It ordered to restrict public access to four clips uploaded at five Internet portals.
