CHERNOVTSY, January 13 (Itar-Tass) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Sunday it is impossible to remove Bashar al-Assad from the political process.

“Our partners are confident that as a precondition Bashar al-Assad must be removed from the political process,” he said. “This is the precondition that Geneva Communique does not contain and that cannot be implemented as this does not depend on anyone,” he said.
