KRASNOYARSK, December 9 (Itar-Tass) —— A Boeing passenger jet of Nordwind Airlines is about to make an emergency landing at the Airport of Krasnoyarsk. The plane has 279 passengers and eleven crewmembers on board.
The press-service of the Yemelyanovo airport said the liner left Krasnoyarsk at 09:40 local time (05:40 Moscow time) for Phouket, Thailand. However, the captain made a decision to return to the airport of departure due to flaps retraction failure.
The plane is now burning fuel before emergency landing, expected at 14:00 local time (10:00 Moscow time).
