Kremlin spokesman mum on his career after presidential election

The Kremlin spokesman said he would probably be dismissed as soon as the new president takes office

MOSCOW, December 14. /TASS/. Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he would not anwer a question on whether he will retain his post after the 2018 presidential election.

"I don't make staff decisions, this is up to the Russian president to decide. Probably, I will be dismissed when the new president takes office. After that, a new spokesman will be appointed," he said in an interview with the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

"This question is entirely up to the next president," the spokesman added.
