MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. Russian Presidential Spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, would not comment on preparations for the potential meeting between Russian and US Presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. He also declined to comment on reports on preparations for Putin’s meeting with US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson.

"No, (the situation) has not clarified," he said, when asked whether there is new information concerning preparations for that meeting. Peskov noted that the question on whether the potential meeting between Putin and Tillerson should be seen as a preparatory step to a meeting with the US leader should be addressed to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Speaking about the meeting with Trump, the Kremlin spokesman emphasized that there was no news whatsoever on the issue. "The Americans keep quiet about this, and we do not discuss this either," he added.
