Russia determined to work with Germany on decisions on Syria, Ukraine — deputy PM

In the situation when positions of the countries diverge, it is necessary "to understand what the partner’s stance bases on", Arkady Dvorkovich said

DUSSELDORF, November 24./TASS/. Russia will seek common with Germany decisions on Syria and Ukraine, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich told a Russian-German conference on raw materials.

"We are committed to search for common solutions on most difficult issues - on Ukraine, Syria and on many other most important problems of the present-day stage of European and global development," he said.

In the situation when positions of the countries diverge, it is necessary "to understand what the partner’s stance bases on, why the partner takes this or that position and makes a relevant decision," Dvorkovich said.

"This will help to find the solution, even without having a common position on this or that issue," he noted.

Russia and Germany will continue cooperation in the economic and humanitarian sectors, cooperation between nongovernmental organizations, he added.
