PETROZAVODSK, September 13. /TASS/. Lawmakers of Russia’s seventh State Duma, to be elected on September 18, should begin its work with considering the budget, the lower house’s speaker Sergey Naryshkin said on Tuesday.
"The seventh convocation should begin its law-making activity with considering the most difficult and dimensional law on the federal budget for the next year and another three years," Naryshkin said, stressing that this is the main law of the year.
Elections to the State Duma, Russia’s lower house of Parliament, will be held on September 18 in a split system: 225 members of parliament will be elected by party tickets, while the other 225 are going to be elected in one-seat constituencies.
