MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. NATO’s position on Russia rules out large-scale bilateral cooperation, Russia’s Permanent Representative to NATO Alexander Grushko said on Thursday.

"What NATO does in the military sphere is an attempt to draw us into some confrontational schemes similar to the relations we experienced during the Cold War years," Grushko said in an interview with Rossiya 1 TV Chanel.
"This seriously complicates the search for some new formula, which is obviously needed both for Europe and the Russian Federation," he added.
"This position held by NATO actually rules out the resumption of any large-scale cooperation," the Russian envoy said.
Russia is the advocate of a dialog with NATO, "including on the issues, on which we really diverge," he said.
