Lavrov hopes for continuation of dialogue with Qatar

MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has expressed hope for continuation of dialogue with Qatar on the bilateral agenda and on the situation in the Middle East. He was speaking on Friday opening talks with his Qatari counterpart Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah.

"I remember my visit to Doha in August," he said. "I hope that today we will be able to reciprocate both in terms of hospitality and in terms of continuing the dialogue."

"We have a lot of things to discuss on the bilateral and international agenda," the Russian foreign minister went on to say. "This includes our work in the International Syria Support Group, the situation in Iraq, Yemen and Libya."
