BRUSSELLS, September 30. /TASS/. Russia has informed NATO of Moscow’s decision to conduct the operation in Syria, the Russian mission at the alliance said on Wednesday.
"The alliance’s leadership was officially informed today about the decision," a mission spokesman said.
The Federation Council earlier on Wednesday granted permission to the Russian president to use the country’s Air Force in Syria against the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group upon the request of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
