Russian forces thwart Ukrainian subversive group’s attempt to penetrate border area

"A Russian FPV drone operator delivered a strike against the subversive/reconnaissance group at the time when the enemy personnel were boarding the armor," the Defense Ministry reported

MOSCOW, March 18. /TASS/. Russian border protection forces destroyed a Ukrainian subversive/reconnaissance group that attempted to penetrate the border area in the Belgorod Region, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Monday.

The Russian border protection forces spotted the movement of a Ukrainian subversive/reconnaissance group in the northern part of the community of Lukashovka on Ukraine’s territory that was going to get into an infantry fighting vehicle to move towards Russia’s state border with the aim of a new provocation, the ministry said in its uploaded video.

"A Russian FPV drone operator delivered a strike against the subversive/reconnaissance group at the time when the enemy personnel were boarding the armor. The enemy lost as many as eight militants killed and wounded," it said.

After Russia’s strike, the Ukrainian armored vehicle’s driver fled the scene, abandoning the wounded, the ministry said.
