Russian troops literally ‘shred’ the enemy in some areas — Putin

The Russian military is advancing day by day, and its strategy currently implies "something more than just active defense," the president said

MOSCOW, March 18. /TASS/. Russian troops have taken the initiative in the special operation zone, literally ‘shredding’ the enemy’s forces in some areas, incumbent Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters at his campaign headquarters.

"In general, the Russian armed forces have taken the initiative completely. At some areas, our troops are literally shredding the enemy into pieces," he said.

He said that the Russian military is advancing day by day, and its strategy currently implies "something more than just active defense."

"Progress is made every day. They are moving gradually and cautiously, but they advance every day. This is something more than just active defense," he said.
