Putin says lack of meaningful contacts between Russia, Estonia abnormal

Putin recalled that the last Russian-Estonian top-level meeting took place about ten years ago

MOSCOW, April 18. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin believes the fact that there have been no meaningful contacts between Russian and Estonian officials for a long time is abnormal.

"The lack of contacts between officials, official bodies, between neighbors is, of course, abnormal," he stressed at a meeting with Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid.

"It’s been a long time since we last saw each other," Putin said welcoming his counterpart in Moscow. He recalled that the last Russian-Estonian top-level meeting took place about ten years ago, while Putin himself met with Kaljulaid "somewhere abroad recently."
