BUENOS AIRES, December 1. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in his free time in lieu of his cancelled talks with US President Donald Trump, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Saturday.

"Yes, there will be a meeting with the Turkish president on Sunday in the first half of the day," Peskov said.

Trump earlier said that he cancels the meeting with Putin over the recent incident in the Kerch Strait, where three Ukrainian Navy ships violated Russia's state border when sailing from the Sea of Azov to the Black Sea.

Putin and Erdogan last met on November 19 in Istanbul. They also held talks in October and August.
