KIEV, May 15. /TASS/. The Russian embassy in Ukraine has demanded an end to violence against media workers and instant release from custody of the editor-in-chief of the RIA Novosti Ukraine news agency Kirill Vyshinsky.
"We have lodged a note of protest with the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to demand every measure should be taken to put an end to violence against mass media workers, secure Kirill Vyshinsky's release, conduct an impartial investigation of the incident and punish those responsible for abuse of authority," the Russian embassy said.
