MOSCOW, August 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Emergencies Ministry has sent humanitarian aid to the quake-hit city of Kunming, south-western China, the ministry’s press service told ITAR-TASS on Monday.

“Pursuant to the Russian government’s instruction, the ministry’s Ilyushin-76 aircraft with humanitarian aid has left for the People’s Republic of China,” the press service said.

All in all, Russia will deliver 38 tonnes of relief supplies, mainly blankets and mobile power plants.
