STRELNA, May 24 /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has congratulated ITAR-TASS News Agency Director-General Sergei Mikhailov on the upcoming 110th anniversary and expressed hope for further development.
“ITAR-TASS is a brand, which is famous in the whole world,” Putin said at a meeting with editors-in-chief of world news agencies on Saturday.
“I hope that under such leadership ITAR-TASS will be given a new impetus and take on a new lease of life,” Putin said.
