MOSCOW, March 24, /ITAR-TASS/. The Air and Space Defence Forces (VKO) have picked up the Fregat booster with navigation satellite Glonass-M for monitoring.
"At 02:57, Moscow time, the orbital assembly, consisting of the Fregat booster with the Glonass-M spacecraft was picked up for monitoring by the facilities of the Titov main space testing center," Colonel Alexei Zolotukhin, VKO spokesman, told Itar-Tass.
The carrier rocket Soyuz 2.1b with the navigation satellite Glonass-M was launched from Plesetsk spaceport at 02:54. The separation of the satellite from the booster is scheduled for 06:26.
