MOSCOW, October 5 (Itar-Tass) - Princess Charlene of Monaco, spouse of Prince Albert II, said she waited for a trip to Sochi to attend the winter Olympic Games 2014 with impatience.

Earlier, Albert II, who took part in the Olympic Games five times, said he intended to attend the Games jointly with the spouse.

“Of course, we’ll be in Sochi. I’ll go there before the competitions start. As member of the International Olympic Committee I should take part in the IOC session before the opening ceremony,” Albert II said, adding, “I’m sure that these are the excellent Games.”

Princess Charlene said she was really going to visit Sochi. “I’m very worried about it. What competitions I intend to visit? I like hockey very much and I’d like to watch any matches,” she said, adding, “I like all sports and I’ll watch all games with big pleasure.”

Answering a question if she is able to be in Sochi throughout all Olympic Games, Princess Charlene said, “If I can, I’ll be glad to enjoy my visit to Sochi.”

The winter Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi will take place from February 7 to February 23, 2014.
